The "clay" is like plastacine but specifically for removing contaminants from your paint that normal cleaning and polishing products cannot. Take a look at www.bilthamber.com.

Get your hands on some SnowFoam and a really good shampoo. Clay and a lube can be picked up easily enough.

Its amazing how dirty the car is even after a proper clean, clay the car and the amount of stuff that comes of is mad.

Obviously a whole lot of work on that and great results, but the car still looks, well white. Nothing better than a pearl or metallic colour looking clean with the sparkly bits in the paint looking good.

This puts my rinse, snowfoam, 2 bucket wash method, dry and polish to shame....I wonder how much all those products cost it must be well into the hundreds?

I never get foam like that, even though I'm using snowfoam is it something to do with the high pressure washer the guy uesd, I always thought that these were the paintworks worst enemy?

I agree about the jet wash, always been told not to use them because they can push dirt and dust into the clearcoat as it removes it. I guess if you are going to that extreme to correct the paint after it does not matter but I would never use one now, not even on a low setting. I use snowfoam on a Gilmour attached to a hose pipe that comes from the outside tap at a fairly good pressure but nowhere near a jet wash. Snowfoam does not get as thick but does the job!
