    Hi all.

I have managed to jam the coin tray closed (the one above the radio) by putting too much in it. Does anyone know how to get in to fix it please? I wondered if taking the radio out may enable me to reach inside and sort it out.

Any advice would be gratefully received!

Had my coin tray out some time ago to change for an illuminated icon version.

Pull forward the capping strip that goes across the top of the centre console which is just above the coin tray/hazard switch/cup holder - it's only held in by friction and rubber mounts and is pulled out to the back of the car.
Then above the coin tray you should see too sprung plastic lugs - gently push these down and with a little persuasion your coin tray should slide out - you may have a wire connected to the back of it if your coin icon is illuminated - not all models have icon illumination. Normally this is easy as the coin tray slid out makes it easier to pull out!

The coin tray assembly is a self contained assembly that slides into the centre console cage - taking the radio out may give you additional leverage to push the tray forward with the two clips disengaged.

Hey woorlord did you go for illuminated icon cup holder too, and if so was this an easy retrofit? Looking into this as it is the only icon not lit up in my car at the moment and it's playing on my OCD lol

Checked one of the older threads which did include references to Cup Holder & Coin Holder illumination upgrades and it would seem I said release the radio a little to allow full extraction of the coin or cup holder - taking my own advise now
