Concert rear speakers dead

Hi all,

I have posted this on the A4 B5 section then I found this section.

I found this dangling from a rear shelf speaker.

Is this supposed to be connected to the speakers? (which are not working)

it was dangling from an 8 pin blue connector, any ideas what the green and the black wires are for?

Any help most gracefully recieved.

Hi, that picture looks like the mini amplifier that sit,s on the back of the rear speaker on a Bose system, you need to wire the radio cables rca output to the multiplug at the rear of the stereo to power the amp in the sub box in the boot, it is very complicated but just got my full system working properly after finding my rear amp was faulty,if you let me know what type of system you have I could help witha wiring guide, thanx Wayne

Seems like its sorted, in another thread.

It is an amp, for a concert radio, the main blue 8 pin connector plug in the car is intact, in fact it was dangling from that connector, I needed to know where the green and the black wires had to go.

seems logical now, to the speaker terminals of course. now I have working back speakers.

But thanks for your input anyway.
