    Howdy!?
I'm thinking of changing my Audi Concert stereo system for the Audi Navigation Plus system. Its in a 02 A6 SE TDI. The only thing obviously is that the Audi Concert is Din and the Navigation Plus is double din!
I'm wondering is it possible to convert to double din without having to lose the ashtray?
I dont smoke but im very particular so I dont want to have to go ripping an pulling out things!
    Any ideas?

do a search online, as i was going to do the same but found it was too much effort, as you basically need to get a slimline air con unit and ash tray, then take out most of the centre console. i was just going to save a bit more money and get an 04 plate with one already in.

Thats wierd. I thought all the facelift cars came with the double-din Symphony stereo as standard? I specifically bought a facelift car to get the double-din! Mine is a 2002 m.y. registered in in 2001.

Its fairly straightforward if you can find a scrap car to get the console from, but hideously expensive if you have to buy everything from Audi.

Nope. Mine's a 2003 53 reg, Concert II in mine.

Mine is the Sport with the non-highline dash, and I think only the Highline's have the Symphony stereo... but I may be wrong.

As said, the OP would need a slimline CC system.
