Included is a pic of my A4 (2.0TDi SE), when purchased it had this body kit/wheels already fitted - someone told me it was an older DTM kit as the back (not shown) is not the plain insert but has two 'webs' in it.
Also the door pillar ratings for the wheel/tyre combination does not cover the 18" alloys/tire size of 18" x 225/40 ZR, anyone know what the 'correct' pressure should be? Currently these are Dunlops, as and when they wear what is the best tyre to fit for grip.
    Thanks in advance for info.

    Best tyre for grip?

How long do you want them to last? If you're happy to keep changing them and not bothered about the cost I caould reccomend some really sticky stuff...

    "AT least £70 each" <snigger>

If you can get decent tyres for less than £90 you're laughing

Niall76, not too bothered what make/cost - current ones seem ok but on a previous car I had Yokahama's - very good grip but wore quite quickly. I am not a high milage person but what excellent gripping from tyres...any particular ones you can recommend?

Good point made above, im curiouse as to what options are out there for my RS6 wheels: 235/35/19.
The current tyres dont protect the rim and there all curbed to bu**gery and back, hence the need for some rim protecting tyres. Im unsure of the correct pressures as they are not the wheels that came with the car originally.

Yup, my MG ZR has 205/45/17 Conti' Sport Contact 2's and there around £115 a corner.

This is why I'm kicking myself for not checking out tyre prices etc before buying my Audi

Any help would be much appreciated!

Seem to have found by scouring various Audi sites/forums that I have a 'Vortex' kit - never heard of it but must have been fitted from new!
Just thought I would let people know

It's Votex and it's an official VAG piece of kit.

    Very nice and very expensive.
