    The fuel filler cap opened ok but now will not close, any ideas or quick fixes?
    Passat Sport Estate / Reflex Silver / Ipod / Heated front and rear seats / Leather

    This may be a stupid question, but did you lock the car and then tried to close the fuel cap? you may find that when you lock the car the latch on the fuel cap closes as well hence not allowing you to close it propperly. Like I said a long shot but i thought it was worth mentioning it.

    The activator is a little grey box in the offside boot behind the trim if you have to look at it.

    If all else fails, try the old favourite - disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.
