    Hi guys,

Im not sure but i think my a4 is overboosting the turbo noise isnt consistent, the noise increases rather than holder under full throttle. Also between 2k-3k rpm sometimes it cuts boost and then picks up again. My thoughts were probably mass airflow sensor, anybody got any other ideas??? No smoke or anything else...

    Cheers

    Hi Ad,

I have not come accross this problem at all but I get a bit of a kind of creaking noise from the rear wheels when I first set off. It is also the quattro version and has had the 18" RS4 alloys fitted which I am wondering are causing the problem?

hows it going lads made it over to skoda today and the car was worst than ever but managed to get two r coils, when i got home i popped them in and disconnected the positive on the battery to reset the fault codes which worked fine then i brought the car for a little spin up the road and over 2000 rpms it started playing up again and the check engine light came on again, so when i pulled back up at the house i popped the bonnet to put the engine cover back on but decided to turn the car off then i heard a hissing/blowing sound comming from beside/under the battery its hard to track it down cause it only blows for a few seconds when the engine is turned off, so removed the battery and checked everything out which looked fine so im thinking maybe its a hose which is causing the misfiring, would it be possible the diagnostics missed this when the hose wasnt blowing as bad before because the hoses were check repeatedly and wernt making any noises until the drive today, any ideas lads maybe diagnostics might detect it now that its much worst what do yous think?
