bit of a dull one this....

Can you set the radio/media volume to quieten when the parking sensors are activated. All I seem to of found is the volume of the beeps, although that's no good when i have my gangster rap banging out of the B&o

And no.... I cant turn the volume knob myself, in the same way I cant press the unlock, lights or handbrake button myself.

What it really needs is a gps awareness:
"oh, your in a car park, i'll turn the volume down"
    or
"oh.. your in a Mc Donalds carpark, I'll turn the volume up loudest and wind down the windaz"

yes, im def sure there is this feature on the a4. Its in the car setup. (someone on here could be a bit more specific, because i remember listening to music, but every time i reversed the music quietens and there's a picture of the car and accurate bars to show how far the car is. )

Pity this isn't on the a3

This is in the sound menu, which is the bottom right button when in radio. You then chose In-car entertainment fader.

Not on mine, I do have "Fader" but this just fades the sound to the front or rear.
    Thanks anyway.

If, like me you have the dealer fitted sensors (due to the facory running out just after launch!) then there is no communication betweet the parking sensors and the setup - therefore there isn't any settings that you can change. I just mute the radio from the steering wheel when I'm using the sensors.

That is a different setting you're on for fading and balance. Try looking for In car entertainment setting.
