DTC code 5317 on 2007 2.0TDi 170 Quattro

Hi All,

I've noticed my fuel consumption is getting worse - I'm basically getting about 400 miles to a tank from my 2007 2.0TDi 170 Quattro Avant. It's a special edition with the 18" alloyws so all in I wouldn't expect amazing MPG but I'm getting about 35ish. I've also noticed it feels a bit down on power - there just isn't the shove from the turbo it once had.

I've got an ST3 from ChippedUK which can read DTC codes and it shows my car is registering a 5317 code all of the time but I have no clue what that actually means - I can't find it anywhere!

Anyone know what 5317 means?

Hi mate,
have you emailed chippeduk with the code? they should be able to tell you what it is. i will have a look on my autodata this evening when i get in and post it up for you if you haven't found out before i do...

I emailed the other night - no response yet... Might have to bite the bullet and go to Audi to see what they say.

i'd just give them a call, ring their normal number and ask for jayson or simon.. they should sort it out for you over the phone..
