CVT = Continuously Variable Transmission.

As for painting, I took it to a sprayshop and told them to do it (It was a mate and he owed me a favour so got it dirt cheap!)

B6 all day long, when i was buying mine i made sure the search was for 2004, not a fan of the round B7 A4's but saying that that shape does look nice on the A6.
