mainly does it put too much strain on the clutch?
ive heard of dealers flashing the ecu and erasing the mapps
    basically im seeking re assurance

Hi the clutch is a weak point of tiuning but there not to bag on the A3's We do so many of them every week !..

Dont worry about the dealer flashing over your map.. By now the car should have had all its updates done and if not most good tuners will flash a new file back in FOC..

As for good review do a search for motech lol..

    Thanks Mike

    Hi adey,
a good remap will give your clutch an easier life as the power comes in smoother so should actually extend the life of your clutch..

    Hi,

I had my 2.0 TDI Auto S-Line DSG remapped a few weeks back - increased it from 140 to around 175. It packs a punch now - especially in the Sports mode.

    HIghly recommend it!!
