    Default Pleaseeeeeeeee Help Front bulb Access – 10-05-2009,12:09 PM
    Guys/Gals I have a Audi A3 1.8sport 2001 One of the front bulbs has just gone!! It looks as though there in no access in engine bay due to battery etc? Has the Headlamp to come off at the front? if so is this easily done and has someone got any details of how to do it!

    Ive got a 2000 A3 and its just the casing that pops off then you can see the bulbs. A bit of a fiddly job tho, i changed mine today (but couldnt get the sidelights out so if anyone has any idea how you get em out that would be great too) and the headlights are big enough to see and to change.

    Yes, you just have to pop the plastic cover off the rear of the headlight unit, it's got two plastic clips which you just press to release the cover. To change the sidelights just pull on the holder and it comes out, it can be a bit tough.
