    Hi Everyone

I've set my mirror to dip, and it does move, but with hardly any movement at all. To the point where if you weren't looking you wouldn't realise it had moved, which makes it a bit pointless for me at the moment!

Does anyone know where I'm going wrong or if there is a setting to change the degree of movement?
I'm aware you need memory features to have it working perfectly, but from what I could pick up people were saying it didn't move back to the right place, not hardly move at all like mine. Car is a 2008 se

When in reverse, use the control you use to set your mirror position to set the dipping mirror to the level you want it to dip to. Then drive off and it will reset itself to your driving position. Stop and put it back in reverse and it will go to the position you just set.

Mitchy - you need Memory seats to store the postion. Activating the dip for non-memory seats gives a default dip position.

Thanks for the replies, I'm not too concerned about them moving to an exact place, just the fact they hardly move at all, I would be happy with a default dip position, but no matter where the mirror is held it only moves a few mm either way
I have taken this video to prove what I mean (excuse the bad quality, had to do it on low res as out with no wi fi). I have done it parked up, putting the dial back he centre for it to move back, the long movement down is me holding it down, but no matter where it starts from, it only adjusts slightly with reverse.
I know you are supposed to drive off etc, but obviously this is the only way I could film it, and driving off seems to have the exact same effect as moving the dial for reset it in that it only moves ever so slightly.

lol it was a cough, tried to edit it out.

Here's a better quality if it helps, just seems if it moves so little there isn't much point? it doesn't really help that much with such little degree of movement

On the clearer version I can see what you mean.
Have you double checked your before and after long code?
