    Hi all

Can the aux ventilation be activated on a 2008 with concert radio? And is there anyone in west/south yorks that wouldn't mind helping me out?

"Needle sweep" is a very simple thing to activate however....

If you have it done then when you car goes into Audi for a service theres a chance it will be reset. Basically all I'm saying is don't pay too much as it may only be a temporary thing.

Yep, I think they plug it into their computer, this then compares the cars settings against the settings on the system registered to the car when it left the factory, it then "corrects" all the values that are different. I think if you warned them about it before you should be ok though (I wouldn't tell them if you are still in warranty though!)

Both my cars are still in warranty and are regulary serviced at Audi, the A3 being in about 5 times a year and not once in 4 years have any VCDS mods been wiped.

Antowens have a look here VWAF User Location Map - VCDS - Google Maps and see if there is anyone local to you.

I could say the same about my TT and B6 S4 but they're different cars. On the B8 A4's this happens.

I'm only mentioning it in case Antowens wasn't aware of the risk of it.

As it is he doesn't go to a dealer so there's no chance of it being plugged into SVA.
