coupe jumping

hi everyone,my L reg 2 litre coupe gets very jumpy wheh in traffic,it is fine once it gets moving again properly.this is the only time it happens and it is perfect on the open road, would anyone know what the problem is ,

hi andy,the car drives perfect but when it hits traffic it looses power it feels as if its going to cut out but it doesnt,and when your taking off from traffic lights it jumps and feels as if the brakes are on . i'm sorry but its hard to describe exactly what happens,but once it gets moving again its fine.
