Whereabouts in NZ are you? Is your car a jap import or NZ New? Sounds like you have some definite voltage supply problems!

We are in Hawkes Bay, car is N.Z. new, am checking relays and will inspect wiper motor as problem may be internal.
Climate control I am not sure where to start. Controls for fan etc still work but screen is blank
Car also on occassions will have a flat btry after a couple of days, although everything is turned off.

Sounds like the A/C control unit is toast! This can also cause your battery problem as it can run your A/C radiator fan even when vehicle is turned off or sometimes the can network won't go to "sleep" when the ignition is turned off causing the battery to drain! Either case I'd say you'll need to replace the A/C control unit which is intergrated in the controls/screen etc. It's a shame I'm in Whangarei otherwise I'd be able to confirm it for you!
