hi all, been doing a few jobs on the beast today 2000 passat tdi AJM
Recently having an annoying problem, of which i have had a quick look into but no joy as yet,
put right hand lock on, and CHECK BRAKE PADS warning came, on, i have newish pads (12months) and have loads of beef still on, i have connected the wear indicator wires together (temporary) but the problem still exists, i have also shorted the brake fluid sensor plug, which buzzes check brake fluid, has anyone came across this issue and maybe be in a position to give me a few pointers?

    cheers guys

i had a autoelectrician have a butchers because i had another fault with the car where the heater was blowing fuses, the loom had rubbed through the otherside of the wheel arch shorting the brake pad wear line, if you wanted to investigate i would remove the wheel arch liners then just follow the wires.
