2002 - 130PD estate - the steering wheel has the most annoying squeek since I bought it. I have removed the airbag, wheel etc including the stalks. Can't find anything else to remove. I have soaked the columb in WD40 but still got the squeek - its directly from under the wheel - any ideas or has anyone had this before.

The squeek is enough for me to sell it!

Try soaking the rubber bush at the bottom of the column with WD40 or similar, where it goes through the bulk head. I get these noises at work all the time. It sounds as if its just behind the steering wheel but it isnt. My dash is creeking and its driving me insane!!! I know how you feel. Just can't be bothered to take it out!!!
