The veteran A4 B6 owner is back to ask specifically about my A8 - the A8 forum part doesnt seem to see as much activity so I thought I would post this here as its a generic question not specific to this model of car.

I want to know if anyone knows someone in the South-East who can help me with the removal and replacement of my diesel exhaust ends on this 3.0tdi - I suspect the current ones are spot welded in place - and I want to have those removed and replaced with something of a more OVAL shiny variety. The exhaust systems is otherwise perfect so I see no need to remove the whole thing just to change the appearance of the back end.

    Any ideas ?
    (a) Where I can source replacement exhaust tips
    (b) Someone who can do this sort of work

    Cheers
    Bishy

excellent job - the powerflow links in turn helped me track down a person I used to go to for such things but had just assumed that business had packed in ... anyway I have the answer I needed.
