    Hi All

    I would appreciate the advice of anyone who knows anything about changing the discs and pads on an A4 Avant 2005.

    Anything specific to watch out for? Would this Halfords wind back tool fit:

    Sorry, one more question. I read somewhere that the car may need to be connected to a computer after - VAGCOM?

    Was hoping to change them on Saturday, so any help before then would be appreciated.

    Hi You should be ok with the tool,it's only needed for the rear pads.You do not need vagcom

    Thanks for your very prompt reply!

    The guy in Halfords was unsure whether it would fit.

    I read soemwhere that cars with ESP would need connecting up to vagcom after, but was unsure why?
