Audi A4 Cab 2003 replace instrument panel

Hi All,

I have managed to get a UK instrument panel for my car with a colour display (on Ebay).

Does anyone know how to get this married up to my ECU - and if it MUST be done by a dealer, anyone know anyone in Dublin that would be able to do this.

Note I also need to change the mileage on the new panel as it has about half the number of miles on it than mine has and it want it to accurately reflect what my car has done.

Called Audi and got a quote for €515 + vat plus installation for a new colour instrument panel.

Without a replacement instrument dash would cost €958 + vat so the €135 I paid is probably good value as I can exchange it for a new one that can be installed correctly. Note they won't take a monocrome panel as a trade in

Anyway if anyone could help me use the one I got off ebay and save me €650 I would be most grateful - pm me if you want,
