    hi all,

does anyone here know what is required to be done for a 80000 mile service on B7 2005 3.0 TDI Quattro s-line and what are the approx costs at the main dealers. just want to have a rough idea before I start to do a ring round.
Also would it be cheaper if I took the car ro another VAG dealer , i.e. VW or Skoda

    thanks

80k Service is a biggie (as far as servicing goes)
Oil, Fuel, Air, and Pollen filters. Complete check round the car. (Although a lot of them still dont remove the wheels )
You've no cambelt to worry about on the 3.0 as its chain driven.
I would think an Audi agent will quite happily relieve you of £350-400 for this service. Maybe more, dependant on what part of the country you are in.
You could take it to a VW or Skoda agent. Might help for you to pre-purchase the filters as most are unique to Audi.
A VW/Audi specialist might also be a worthy option, a lot of these guys have dealer backgrounds and should be reasonably knowlegable about the common rail V6 (probably more than a Skoda agent, as they dont use that engine.)

Thanks Lateknight, you've answered one of my main concerns regarding the cameblt or this case the lack of it. At least that doen't need changing. I've got a couple of independent VW/Audi places near to me so I'll contact them.
