    Hey all,

Yet another question from me and as always sorry if it has been covered in length beforehand. (in abit of a rush so no time to search)

I have the RNS-e and would love for a reverse camera to come on when I am backing up.

So anyone got the know how on how big a job it is and a sort of cost?

No time to search?! How long does it take. This has been covered... So try searching!

You need a multimedia adapter either from Kufatec or from Fleabay (~£100) You need the camera, either from a Q7 (£££) or fashion your own from Fleabay in to the boot release handle.

Then you need to reprogram the car.

There was a good writeup on navplus.us but I've lost my link... Isaac Hunt may be able to help.

    No time to search?!

I did it on my B7, if you already have the media adapter then your looking at about £200. If you dont then add on another £200 ish for the adapter.

Took about three hours to install it all.

lol when I said I didn't have time to search that was coz I was about to run out the door and thought I would get a thread going so by the time I could next check I would have loads of nice people talking away

Do you think there are people in the Reading/London area that would do this? As even though I think I would give it a good bash I don't want to break my baby

Don't know if they would have time to do it...?

    What if 'they' break it?

I live nr. Reading but sadly I dont do this sort of thing for a living! Its pretty easy to do, I posted a guide on audiforum.us. Google "reverse camera into A4" and it should be near the top of the results.

There isnt really anything you can break as long as you follow the instructions!
