how easy is it to replace the OEM concert (CD) head unit in a 2005 A4 cab (pre facelift) for a aftermarket single DIN headunit ? I have a blaupunkt head unit with USB and bluetooth that I really like. not sure what it will look like though ?

havent got the car yet but getting it soon. Is is pre can bus ?

No it is a CAN-BUS headunit. I think you will need a CAN-BUS emulator from somewhere, I've never done it myself but have heard people talking about them.

Otherwise, as long as it fits in terms of dimensions it should be fine.

oh !! think i might go for the xcarlink with bluetooth module as it will look neater. my blaupunkt is excellent as i get full artist and album listing on the LCD screen but it is chunky and might look odd !
