    I was reading on this site that some Boras have done in excess of 150k/200k miles!

    How many miles have you got on your motor?

    My Golf's only done a measley 49k (and it's nearly 7 years old!)

    So come on then, who's done the most miles?

    Mines a 99 golf and has nearly done 69,000

    I currently have 96 gti and it's just about done 150k on original eng,clutch,gearbox and it's still going strong.Did have a 99' Golf tdi 90hp that had done 220k when i sold a couple of years ago that still drove like new.

    2000 gt tdi 115 and its just popped over 80k only just broken in

    I have a 94 golf 2 litre ( GL)
    Just tripped over onto 200,000 KMS this week !
    Still original engine, but gearbox was changed about 30,000 ago
