Hi. Just had the car serviced by independent garage and 3 days later I got SAFE displaying on the dash.
I have Airbag, Glow heater, ABS, and some other warning lights on. The illumination lights to light the instrument cluster, Fuel gauge and RPM counter dont work dont work either. went back to the garage where it was serviced and they are going to let me know how much it will cost to put it right. anyone have any idea what it may be and should I just take it to dealer as it is still under warrantee.

Take it to Audi, on a 2 year old car that shouldnt be happening.

What miles are on the car and was the independant an Audi specialist?

Hi, mileage is just under 20,000.
The Audi garage is owned by former Audi tech. I think I should take it to Audi dealer first and see what they say. May just be a coincidence that it has gone weird after the service.

Hi. Just an update, the car was re-coded by Audi foc and all looks fine. I will now have to re-code the viseo Bluetooth kit back in. Seems they never coded it back again.

They will have reset the coding to the factory standard, downloaded from the central server in Germany. This will not take account of any third-party addons like your bluetooth kit. You run the risk of this happening each time the car goes to a main dealer, unless you make them aware of the issue and ask them not to.

    Cheers!

Hi, Thanks for the input. I have Rostech cable, so I will re-code the bluetooth today.
