Hi guys,

My job is changing somewhat and I'm now going to have to do a lot more mileage.. Does anyone know just how many miles you have to do per year before a diesel car become cheaper to run? (taking into account tax/servicing and cost of diesel).

I currently own a 2001 A4 Saloon, 2.0L FSI. I've loved every minute of driving it and really don't want to part with it, but feel there may be some savings to be made if I swap to a diesel? I just hate buying and selling cars though..

Does anyone on here with a diesel fancy a change.. Swap for a 2.O FSI petrol? Blue, 72k with great spec. 17''s etc..
