    New dash pod --or a solution ?.
    I did hear one time its repairable - inexpensive too .
    Any ideas ?.

    When you say dim, do you mean the LCD screen or all the lights?
    If its all the lights have you tried turning the left hand dash stalk/reset thingy under the clock. You can adjust the brighhtness of the dash pod with it.
    If you mean the lcd then have a look at this thread:

    Guy by the name of flyingby about 2 thirds of the way down suggests a repair!!
    Anyone else done it?

    No problem Pete.
    My LCD is playing up too and I'm going to try the fix when I get a few hours to myself. If you have a go at the fix, post on here and I'll do the same.
