    Hi,

What should I look for when considering buying a 2002 VW Passat 1.9 TDI Highline 130HK 4Motion 6 gear manual ?

It has driven 170 000km. IT comes with leather seats and tv/navi.
The car I am looking at now is the following one: http://www.finn.no/finn/car/object?finnkode=16949792

First I considered byuing Audi Quattro with automatic gear (tiptronic). In passat world I have found Passat 4Motion Highline to give me the Audi "S" interiour/comfort.

Appreciate any advice, guidelines, pointers and suggestions for a good car in my price range. Price range meening 2000-2003 mod of Audi Quattro or Passat 4motion. Should I perhaps ignore 4wheel drive? I feel I want 4 to have feeling when driving, I do not need it for winter.

    Thanks!

    -JH

4motion Passats are very rare in the UK, so not many people will have experienced one. The Audi will feel a more special car to own and drive, but if the Passat is a better price it may be more sensible.
