So my car 03 GT TDI 130 Golf MK4, goes in to limp mode between 85-100mph, i know i dont often do these sorts of speed but i want it fixed as it can only lead to worse things.

I had a fault scan done on VAGcom by some one i know and the fault that was identified was:

    17965 - Charge Pressure Control: Positive Deviation p1557 - 35 - 10 - - - intermittent

So i have changed the N75 valve and still no luck, still going in to limp mode, I was wondering if any one else has got anything else to check before i have to replace the turbo.

The car needs a service in 1900miles, and i am planning on getting this done over the next few weeks, could this cure the problem? just that it needs a good service?

Any other suggestions will be helpful.

    Thanks

Possibly either Air Mass Meter, or the turbo. Before replacing the turbo (£XXXX!!!!), try the Innotec Turbo Cleaning kit.

    http://www.innotecworld.com/c-1057-turbo-clean-set.aspx

You can order one direct from them, £37 ish.
