    Hi all,

Does anyone have an e copy (pdf: doc etc) of the radio manual for a 2000 A4 (B5) Avant. It is a concert cassette radio with 6 cd player in the boot.

If not, where can i get one without inflating Helmut Audi's bank balance?

    My specific q's are:
When TP is on it records the traffic info. Can you delete the recording and how do you turn TP off without playing the recording over and over?

    Is there a loudness option?

. . . but id still like a copy of the manual if poss

    kind regards
(still in love with my new car)
    Mike

I think to turn TP off you just press and hold for a few seconds. That should delete all recorded announcements when the ignition is turned off.
    Don't think it has loudness.

    Hi Mike,
I am sure there is a way to turn down the volume on the traffic announcements, just cant remember what buttons you have to press, although I seem to think that the word GALA is displayed??. I will get back to you over the next couple of days when I have had chance to get to the manual in my car, will also try and copy it into a PDF for downloading.

    Hi Mike,
I have had a look today in the manual and the procedure is as follows :-
    1. Turn the radio OFF.
    2. Press and hold the TP button.
    3. Switch on the radio whilst keeping the button pressed.
    4. The display will now show TA and a number (This is the current volume of the traffic annoucement.)
That`s all there is to it.
If the radio is fitted with GALA speed-dependent volume the process is the same as above, when the display shows TA then press the TP button until GALA and the current set volume is displayed. Then it is just a case of setting the volume to the required level in both cases.
    Hope this is of help.
    P.S.
If you send me a PM with your email address then when I have scanned the manual as a PDF I will send it to you. (PM`s can be sent by clicking on PM at the top of the page just under your forum name.)
