Audi A4 - rear fog light

Hi there

I own an A4 TDI, 2004, saloon.

Just noticed last week, when checking the lights, that one of the rear for light was not working, (left hand side fog light).

I've changed the bulb but with no result.

I red a post on VW forum, that some guy had the same problem on a 2003 Passat, and somebody replied that the left hand side rear fog light, UK car, is not connected.

Would this apply to the Audi as well, or there is a fault with my connections?

Yes,you should have only the one fog light.

The rear clusters are for left and right hand drive cars..

The right fog light is the only which should work..

for example, if you had both working, its hard for other drivers behind you to notice your brake lights in thick fog compared to just one offside working.

One is more than enough! Too many people drive around with the back ones one during perfectly clear days. Annoys the hell out of me, and everybody else I assume!
