try swaping someones turbo boost sensor first as this is often overlooked and was the prob. with mine

car was fine this morning, put some additives in it [forte] last night took it it for a long spin[100 miles] . then as soon as the cr got up to normal temp, back to juddering shuddering and loss of power

, my mates having a look at it tommorow i will keep you posted many thanks to 1 and all.

16687 (P0303) Cylinder 3 Misfire recognised.

Change the in head harness, a very common fault and cheap and easy to do.

still no joy fellas. checked the wiring in the top end to the harness (to the injectors?) and no faults found, changed the cam shaft senser, my mate thinks its the injector or the lobes on the cam worn, gutted. dont know how we've come from the turbo intermittent problem to this, all codes were erased and the turbo intermitent hes not come back, but the problem is the same.

If he checked the harness he would have been able to see if the injector lobes on the cam were worn. I suggest you change the in head harness.

if the test showed no faults on wiring in the harness, could there still be a fault with the harness? many thanks once again

Yes I have seen that happen, change the harness and whilst in there, check the cam lobes.

my good friend took the car to bits this evening took the cam out, lobes are worn. this will be the end of the saga fingers crossed. about 200 ish for a new one?
