    hi all just bought a s3 2000 model and after about an hour of the car sitting on the drive locked and armed the alarm starts to go off. can the sensetivity be altered if so how or could there be any other reason thanks.

    You need a fault code read to see what is activating the alarm

    hi i found that when i had an s3 it was the door sensors playing up which triggered the alarm worth a quick check...
    unfortunatly my car was stolen and appeared on bbc1 traffic cops tonight. need a little work now

    Hi,

    As kenney says, you really need a fault code to understand what is triggering the alarm, but when mine had this problem it was a faulty bonnet sensor that thought the bonnet was being opened.
