    Hi
If You want to check the turbo on 1.9 tdi PD (in my case engine code AVF),one of the ways is to go to address 01,then choose basic setting of group 011. Engine should be warm and every electric consumator should be switched off. ECU will encrease RPM to app. 1400 and every 10 seconds will switch on the N75. If everything is ok, You should notice the increasing of manifold pressure at least (as per ELSA) 80 mbar (mine was more than 200). You can notice the movement of the rod on turbo as shown on movie clip.

Yes, multiple posts on the on here, the BBA forum, Ilexa forum, Volkswagen.co.uk forum and in The Golf + mag. No doubt this is where you found out about it as it is deeply hidden in ELSA since all those functions are now covered in GFF, I found the function when I fist had VAG-COM 305 years ago by going through basic Settings 04 groups and seeing what happens.. I was reading a buyers guide on the Golf 1 GTI yesterday and they had cut and pasted one of my replies straight out of The Golf+ mag. Flattery in some ways but credit doesn’t harm! 04-003 is also useful for testing the EGR function, avoids guess work.
