CD Player fitting

I guess somebody must've done this, I've only got the cassette player in my car and have bought the VW CD player which slots in above it (along with support frame)

Question is how do I get the cubby hole out of the dashboard without either damaging the dash or removing the stereo (for which I would need special keys)

once you've got the stereo out, youll be able to literally unclip the cubby hole. you should be taking the old stereo out first, dont try and get the cubby hole out first

Cheers, thanks for that, you probably saved me from breaking my dashboard! Bought a removal key off the internet for £4 so it's not too bad (provided I got the right key )
