    Default 1.4 16v BCA engine needs new short motor – 03-04-2009,04:35 PM
    I have a golf mk4 1.4 16v BCA engine. The bottom end of the engine is knackered but the cylinder head was reconditioned last year.

    I was wondering if the short motors are the same on all VW 1.4 16v's engines (with different engine codes)?

    sorry to bump up this thread.

    but it seems impossible to find a replacement BCA code engine, there are plenty of AHW code engines.

    But will this engine fit?

    i dont have a clue havnt had anything to do with 1.4's sorry
