Can anyone give me an insight into this mod.
    I have a 2.5 TDi and VCDS.
Is it better to dissconnect or use adaptions.
Where would I make the adaptions and what would they be....
    TIA

It can with the old non-pd 1.9tdi's, I don't think it can with the newer pdTDI's. I'm not sure about the 2.5TDI.
There is a bit of infor about 2/3 of the way down this page - http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/tdi.html

if i make the changes to the EGR settings as per the Ross-tech website, will this affect an already remapped car? i got mine remapped by Chipped uk last year, and dont reallywant to mess up the current settings.

I wouldn't bother if remaped. I made this mod to my PD (which does work) and it seemed fine. Once I had the remap I checked the actual value for the MAF and it was high so I knew the EGR was minimised.

If the car is standard then the value can be modified as per Ross-techs website.
