Golf GT TDI 115bhp Tuning Kit Advice required

Hi, I recently bought a GT TDI 115bhp and would like to get more power out of it.

I'm interested in the tuning kits but dont want to pay out huge amounts of money. My mate managed to get from his fleet company an old tuning box from a mk4 but I cant see how it fits under the bonnet - any advice?

I think it may not be the right one for my car (it has 10 pins on it).

Any suggestions on where i can buy a tuning box which isn't going to break the bank?

Not a bog fan of tunning box's.. We use a PD115 for work now done 164k been mapped for over 100k now. ! We are offering re-maps for £280 all in that will see the power go to a good 140hp..

Not correct, that is for a VEP TDI, yours is a PD TDI and it plugs into the five pin plug on the side of the head. There is nothing wrong with a good tuning box, the trouble is there is a hell of a lot of crap out then but then again, there are some very bad maps being offered as I am sure Mike must have seen examples of.

Hi Crasher, thanks for the info..... It was giving me a headache checking everywhere under the bonnet trying to locate a 10pin plug - at least i know now thanks.

Any suggestions where I can buy a decent tuning box without breaking the bank?
