Shark Fin Antenna and GPS

Hi All, Does the factory fit sharks fin antenna include GPS? If so where will the cable be?

P.S it is a 2005 A6 Saloon, 3.0 TDi Quattro. New model.

If you do not have a Nav fitted then the aerial amplifier may not be installed. If you have a factory fitted phone option then the amp will be in the shark fin. I suggest you ask Audi against the Reg/Vin number to find the build. Regards Peter

Thanks for the quick reply, i do have the factory phone fitted, so if the amp is in the fin how do i get the cable down to the rack in the boot?

If you have the phone then the cabling will come from the fin to the left hand side compartment be hind the trim. I do not now whether these travel forward to the front if the nav option is not fitted. A call to Audi may reveal the answer. Regards Peter
