2.5 TDI Remap Angel tuning

Alrite folks,

I recently got my 2003 A4 2.5 TDI remapped (155 bhp model) by Angel tuning. The guy came to my work and was done within a couple of hours. He was a good guy, talked alot about what he was doing etc. When I took it out on a test drive, all I can say is WOW . The difference is huge. The car picks up around 2500 rpm and pulls hard. 3rd gear is fantastic! I can also cruise around in 6th gear with at low speeds and the car isnt even bothered at all. He also raised the rev limiter slightly, before it would die a death at 4000rpm, now theres power all the way up to just under 5000rpm.

MPG has suffered when you really put the foot down, but its not that bad!! the day I got it done i was driving it hard to see how it would perform, I was getting 30 to 35mpg!

On my daily 23 mile commute to work I can easily get up to 45 mpg (depending on traffic).

The guy is saying the car will be around 180 to 190 bhp with a healthy increase in torque.

Anyway just thought I would let you know, because I was wary about getting mine remapped but so far, its been well worth the money (£275).

Sounds good to me. Got the 180bhp version myself and have been planning to get a remap for 6 months! But every month something else pops up and empties my bank account.

Posts like this make me need a remap, just hope nothing unexpected pops up this month and i can get mine done.

*I've never seen above 33mpg standard!
