I have a 2001 A6 Avant SE quattro, and there is a hole/dent in the grey plastic part of the rear bumper which the previous owner decided to try and fix with filler(!)

Is it possible to get hold of just the plastic part of the bumper without the colour coded part? Or will I have to buy a whole new complete bumper?

I don't have a picture of my exact car, but the picture below illustrates the grey plastic part i mean...

My other noob question is will saloon bumpers fit the avant models?

    Any help is appreciated.

As far as i know it can be bought seperate. You dont say how bad the damage is or to what standard the repair has been done but its certainly possible to repair the "unpainted" part as again, i,m fairly certain that they are actually painted to the grey or black finish.
This could be done reasonable enough, approx £70-£100 and if you could do it yourself, £25-£30. Any good auto factor should stock the plasticiser to add to the paint.
