Help!

I'm in the middle of trying to fit a leather interior from a 2001 Bora into my 1998 mk 4 golf Gti.

My golf originally had a recaro interior.

My problem id this. The yellow airbag connection that is in the car, does not fit the yellow airbag connection on the new seats.

Can somebody give me some advice on how to rectify this? I've stopped halfway through the job now. I considered swapping the yellow plugs from the seats and rewiring them, but i don't want to risk making a mess of it all and ending up having to fork out loads to get it rectified.

You have to swap the air bag wires but it means stripping the seats down or re-wire the plug but they are quite awkward to remove the pins without damaging them so most people cut the harness from a donor car and very carefully solder them in. Do not have the ignition on with the airbags disconnected or you will have to get the code cleared.
