A6 service light reset

Hi,have a 2005 A6 2.7 S line,can any one help me with resetting the service indicator..many thanks

Mine (2000) has the instructions in the user manual - it's a combination of pushing the trip reset and clock adjust buttons.

This method only works for fixed service itervals though. To reset the service indicator for long life service, you need to use vag-com.

Tried that method with no joy,also tried a snap on solus but cant get into it

I have an A6 avant 2007 on a long life service interval. I changed the oil and oil filter myself. How do I tell the computer to reset itself? There appears to be no options of pressing left and right hand buttons as indicated on previous emails.

For a longlife service reset, you'll need to use vag-com.
