VR5 oil type – 18-03-2007,05:21 PM

Hi - Ok, really basic question. Not had the passat VR5 long, and am not currently near any of the documentation etc and I wondered what type of oil is ok to use? Synthetic, part synthetic, etc etc and the rating in term of temp 0w etc etc, sorry being a bit dense... any help would be appreciated!
