Newbie needs advice!!

Hi All,

Just joined the forum and placed an intro about me in the intro section.

Looking to buy an A3 shortly and I have seen this one and wnated some opinions (if its a good one - dont get any ideas....it is mine....if its bad your welcome to it! lol

)

Ok the pics are not great, but I have seen and driven this.

Feels fine to drive and in generally good nick. Paint needs a bit of work but otherise good.

What is you thought on the price? ANy obvious things I should be looking for? Common issues on this model.

I am keen to get a sound car that I can keep for a while and slowly improve!

I know newbies are a burden...but I hope someone can help, thanks in advance.

Oh dear......... what i horrible car NOT! Love it mate. It has all the bits and pieces and looks fantastic. Don't think there is much wrong with these cars at present, solid build and quality.

...its doesn't have sat nav. (not that i can see) Well the genuine audi one. For the price, thats not bad. Mileage is about avg. Just make sure it comes with some kind of warranty. Be a good buy!

It does have Audi sat nav, it comes up on the main console (by the speedo etc).

Comes with 6 month warranty, just been serviced and MOT'D as well. Seems sound I think i will go for it....just got to knock them down on price!

I would double check the sat-nav if i were you, never seen one by the speedo before! Apart from that great car, enjoy

That's the direction arrows showing in the DIS in the middle of speedo and rev counter

Well I took the plunge and bought her. Paid £13600 a tad more than I was willing to pay (as you always do) but includes 6 month warranty and the stone chip repair on the screen that needed doing.

Pick her up next week. Looking forward to it.
