98 1.8T poor mpg??

i have a audi a6 1.8T 1998 120K on the clock

car was down on power and i had the MAf sensor replaced and lambda sensor and temp sensor but the drinks prtrol like mad used to get about 300 miles from a full tank town driving now i just about get 250 miles could the cat be on its way out any ideas

Any error codes ??. I get 37 most months and 40 plus on really long motorway runs on shell fuel. Lowest 31.2 mpg due to excess local runs. Regards Peter

i will try to plug in vag com agin to see if i get any codes i always use shell petrol i think im currently getting about 19-20 mpg or less used to get about 25 but i hardly do any motaway driving how much miles do u get from full tank

i have had vag com pluged in and have got a code for the throttle body so i am going to clean it and see what happens
