I have an Mk4 Golf GTTDi which was lowered prior to me buying it looks great but the ride is ***** and the front especially seems to be bouncing around & running of the bump stops at times.

It currently has short springs fitted over the original front struts & rear shocks.

With what little I know it would seem I really need to be running with coilovers and that brings me to my question: which make of coilovers would you recommended?

Or would I get just as good a ride just replacing the struts for a better make and keeping the springs that are on already??

I’ve looked on eBay the window to the world and there’s loads of different makes Weitec, Jamex, Gaz, Avo, Gmax, Spax, Hottuning, Koni etc from UK, Germany & Belgium!

I do a lot of miles a yr over 26k so do need a little comfort but don’t mind a little on the hard side when I push the car.

Budget with the credit crunch & all I don’t want to be getting out a second mortgage just to buy the things!

OR has anyone got a set for sale & I don’t want ***** that your selling because they were crap put those on eBay

    Cheers
    Chris

The Weitec is what I sell but beware that coilovers can feel worse than what you already have.
