Hi all still planning oil change - just found a nice hand pump for filling from local scrap yard - all Citroen's have a fuel primer on inner wing has non return valve built in and cost 2 quid .
I read that the oil should be yellow but on delivery of my A6 3.0 DTI quatro it was leaking a light blue (same colour as stud lock on bolts in kits)
oil with a strong cat pee smell - AA man rubbished me on the phone but agreed completely on arrival and took it away for 2 weeks
I realy need to find the right stuff plus filter or strainer as its called and
does anybody know how much in volume synthetic oils expand per 10deg C
so I can cold fill to level at 20deg and remove "x" amount for temp adjustment.
I guess there is a heat exchanger in bottom of radiator because my leak required two new pipes so does it cool dirty outgoing or clean incoming on changeover ok enough for now
Anybody gleaned any bits of info as all is welcome looks like we have
to write our own Haynes manual for 2006 models
Cheers Steve.
