    Hi Guys,

    can anyone tell me what specification is for the power steering fluid for a 2003 Passat please?

    I just use good quality automatic transmission fluid. Can't help with the actual specification.

    Power Steering Fluid should be G002 000
    You can get it in 1 litre quantities from dealers

    You need a special low-viscosity hydraulic fluid called CHF11S it is used in many makes of cars, not just VW, so is available from all good motor factors. Castrol and Pentosin do them too.
    e.g.

    or the one from the dealers.
